Federal financial 援助 is available to U.S. 公民及永久居民.  We enc我们的age all students to complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA^® , or Free Application for Federal Student 援助, by 2024年4月15日， 哪个是优先截止日期. UD使用FAFSA^® as well as year in school, enrollment status, 和 cost of attendance (COA) to determine 提供援助.

Financial Need as determined by the FAFSA^® helps UD determine how much a student can receive in need-based funds such as the Pell Grant, SEOG, federal work-study, Federal Direct Subsidized Loan, Texas Tuition 均衡补助金等. New students will receive an email 不ification detailing how to view their financial 提供援助. Accepting Federal Direct Loans (subsidized or unsubsidized)

If you accept y我们的 Federal Direct Loan(s) 和 you are a new borrower at UD, you will be required to complete a Federal Direct Loan 主本票(MPN) 和 直接贷款入学辅导 at student援助.政府. 失败 to do so will keep y我们的 loan from disbursing to y我们的 account, 和 ultimately in the 取消贷款.

If you have been granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), we enc我们的age 完成FAFSA^®.
